About the event
On January 29, 2024, Red Crescent volunteers received an emergency call. A 5-year-old girl was trapped in a car under IOF fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they did everything they could to get an ambulance to her. Her name was Hind Rajab.
Receiving a 23-minute standing ovation at its world premiere in Venice, The Voice of Hind Rajab received an Academy Award nomination for Best International Feature Film, with nominations at the Golden Globes and the BAFTAs.
